Internet Businesses wish to keep a good and comfortable
relationship with our clients. To do so, we must specify
some guidelines as to keep visitors to the site pleased
and the clients out of 'hot water.' --THE
BASICS--
What
SWIB restricts:
- Hard-core
pornography
- Anything
that is illegal and/or violates
state/country/province/city codes.
- Making
false allegations toward a federal party (i.e.
FBI, CIA, etc.)
- IRC
Bots such as Eggdrop and BitchX
- Bulk
e-mailing in which a domain or e-mail address on
our system is referenced either as the reply-to
address or from address, or if it is located
anywhere in the body of the e-mail.
SWIB's
billing procedure:
- Fees
for accounts can be found on our services page. We
require that you pay the setup fee (if any),
options fee (if any options were selected) and at
least six months advanced payment on your domain
"up-front" (at sign-up). From there, we
will bill you every six months (or whichever
payment interval you selected).
- Network
Solutions (InterNIC), will bill you separately.
Their terms are $70 setup at sign-up, valid for
two years. Whereas thereafter, you will be
charged $35 every year.
SWIB's
disciplinary actions:
- If a
payment is not received within 30 days of
the date since we sent out your invoice, your
site will be temporarily 'shut down' (not
accessible to public).
- If a
payment is not received within 60 days of
date since we sent out your invoice, your site
will be terminated permanently (but your domain
is still yours).
- Payments
are due two weeks after invoice has been sent
out (everyday thereafter you will be charged
a $1.00 late fee).
- If
your site is terminated permanently, we
will allow you to reactivate it for a flat fee of
$80, which over-rides the $1.00 per day late fee.
- If
you post any information violating our
restrictions, your site may be shut down.
- If
you Bulk e-mail, depending on how many
complaints we get, we will:
• Proceed with cancellation of your domain
account without notice or refund. OR
• Warn you and shut-down access to your POP3
e-mail for *3* or more days.
